Ok I've never ever doubted my sexuality til now I'll tell you my history mate went over seas for 2 years one of my other mate commited suicide my parents separated my gf broke up with me ok here how's it happened me and my mates went out clubbin for my mates I was fairly drunk that night but I got a homosexual thought I've only had 3 in my life in 3 year gaps when it happened I. Kinda thought what the ###$ was that and then I fell asleep and woke up next day with anxiety thinkin why the ###$ did I think that then I thought what if I'm gay thought happened I stressed out i told my mum what if I'm gay she said if u r it's okay I still love you she said I know your not I was depressed I couldn't smile or sleep I couldn't masturbate without random images poplin up in my head I went to the dr and told her everything and she said anxiety and gave me Meds I start to look up symptoms it sounds like OCD And then I went back to dr and said I think I have OCD and told her when people jokingly call me gay or watch something gay/bi on tv or if a gay guy is near me I panic and she diagnosed me with OCD or obsessive thinking and gave me zoloft I've been doin ERP and cbt but sometimes I doubt my diagnoses and that's OCD sometimes I wanna say I'm gay just to get over this now I'm questioning if it's OCD or not and doubting if I told dr right information and in the right way I'm afraid of seeing a therapist aswell

Hi Bradly,

One way to find out your sexual orientation is by masturbation. If you imagine women in your masturbation you should be "straight". If you get satisfaction from masturbation imagining being with men, you could be orientated towards homosexuality.

But sexual problems may also arise from depression, where you seek for immediate sexual gratification out of sheer depression, or escaping from depression momentarily.
