Answer
Hi Samantha,

It is very important for epileptics, that their illness does not affects their self-image. The stigma of epilepsy that it is commonly seen a "mental disorder" which comes from ignorance and non-sensical mythology. Thus you need to educate people about what epilepsy is and how to help an epileptic person when he has an attack. One of my clients was an severe epileptic with similar feelings as yours and he started teaching people what epeilepsy was and what to do when he had an attack.
