Question
Well hello there,
well I just having this question, and I been thinking about it and I think I have some sorta anxiety problem.
Sometimes I feel extremly nervous when I need to do something like "go to the doctor" or "first day of school" etc,
and I start feeling really nauseous and theres pretty much nothing that can make me calm down, I feel nauseous and nerveous the whole day.
I can't really eat, when I'm like that cause I'm scared I'm gonna throw up or something so I don't eat when I'm nervous.
this wouldn't be such a big deal if I throwing up wasn't my phobia.
Is there anything that can help me calm down when I'm that nervous?
is it normal?
do I need psychologist to help me with my phobia and help me stop being so nervous?

Answer
Hi Evelyn,

That must be very confusing to you, but the solution can be very simple. Most people who suffer from hypoglycemia - a sugar handling problem - suffer from unexplainable anxiety attacks and phobias and nauseous feelings. Just go on a hypoglycemic diet, that is a diet without refined sugar, high in protein and frequent snacks. Please read:

If this does not help in say two months, please see a Nutritional Doctor and have yourself tested for diabetes.
