Question what does he use? i know its a lot, but what are his favourites?
are his synths cheap and acccesable or does he own things like
the "buchla music easel" that you have to be a zillionaire or an
old man to have? also, where can i get free stuff? preferably
synths and most things analogue?

Answer I've been asked questions similar on a number of occasions. The short answer is I don't really know what his favourite music making devices are. The slightly longer answer is that I'm sure his favourite machines change over time as part of the creative process and development of ones own "sound". What I do know is that he's fond of programming his own custom software devices for creating sound. In terms of actual synths you can buy in the shops, well that's anyone's guess. I don't know if he has a "flavour of the month" in the this respect. I'm sure there's a bunch of machines in his studio that for him are essential kit, but I don't know what these are I'm afraid.
