QuestionI recently ate a "Seafood Dip" at Steamers in Hilton Head, SC. It was a baked dip with crab, shrimp and cheese. It was served with Tortilla chips. Is there any way that I can get this recipe or do you have something similar?
AnswerYou might try writing the hotel and asking them for the recipe. That sometimes works.
I doubt that I will be able to match the recipe exactly, but here's a seafood dip that you might also like:
Seafood Dip
1 c Flaked Imitation Crabmeat
1/2 c Cheddar Cheese -- shredded
1/4 c Cream Cheese -- softened
1/4 c Mayonnaise
1/4 c Sour Cream
1/4 c Parmesan Cheese -- grated
1/4 c Green Onions -- sliced
1 t Lemon Juice
1/4 ts Worcestershire Sauce
1/8 ts Garlic Powder
1/4 c Bread Crumbs
In a bowl, mix the first 10 ingredients until smooth. Spread in a 9 inch pie pan. Sprinkle with bread crumbs. Bake, covered, at 350 degrees F 20 minutes or until bubbly. Uncover and bake 5 more minutes.
