Question
I am in love with spinach balls with meat. I was able to fine recipes for them without meat. Can you give me the ingredients for spinach balls with meat?

Answer
Hi Kelly!

You don't say what type of meat, so I'm giving you one that uses sausage:

Sausage Spinach Balls

2 packages frozen chopped spinach (10 oz each)
2 cups crushed herb stuffing mix
1 cup Parmesan cheese
4 eggs, beaten
4 green onions, chopped
1/2 pound hot Italian sausage

Thaw spinach, drain and squeeze dry. Combine all ingredients, except sausage in a large bowl. Remove casings from sausage and cook in a heavy skillet over high heat until no longer pink, crumbling with a fork, about 4 minutes. Add sausage and drippings to spinach mixture and combine well.

Shape into about 72 one inch balls and place on baking sheet. Cover and chill overnight. Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Bake until golden, about 15 minutes. Serve hot.

May be frozen after baking.

Serve with hot mustard.

I love to cook. I feel that I can competently give advice on recipes, preparation, ingredient substitutions, problem solving (i.e. what went wrong?), etc. From a quick dinner in 20 minutes or less, to a formal dinner party for 12, I`ve done it all!
