will "When the Pawn" ever see a successor? Romour has it that in July of last year Fiona was writing for a new album, but sofar no one seems to know...

Hey Dave!  :-)

I, too, heard that rumor that Fiona was writing new songs for her next album last year...I didn't give it much credit, because the way I view it, Fiona will always be writing, it doesn't necessarily mean a new album is pending.  But, anyway.  

Recent rumors indicate that a new Fiona Apple album could be out as soon as this spring of 2002!!  How exciting is that?!  Here's a link to the source of the information.  It's under the October update.

So, that's pretty much all we know for now.  Sony's not talking, and Fiona's not talking, so no one can be for 100% sure....but as for me, I'm thrilled!!!
