salam sir.
From previous some days i am sufering by one question. and i am searching 4 the rite answer. my question is this that some peoples says that YA ALI MADAD. is this correct or not. please clear my queastion by giving the refrences from QURAN as well as from HADITH'S and SUNNAH.
i shell be very thankfull to you.

Dear junaid

Sorry for being late in answering you.
I want to make it clear to you that saying Ya Ali Madad is not allowed in Islam in any case because it means that Ali RA is listening you and will help you.

But as you know that Prophet Muhammad peace be upon him with all his companions, including Ali RA, is now dead so now if someone is saying Ya Ali Madad with intention that Ali is listening him and will help him then it is not allowed because he is calling a dead person who according to Noble Quran can not listen and can not help anyone.
See verse from Noble Quran

35:14 If ye invoke them, they will not listen to your call, and if they were to listen, they cannot answer your (prayer). On the Day of Judgment they will reject your "Partnership". and none, (O man!) can tell thee (the Truth) like the One Who is acquainted with all things.

so according to this Noble Verse Ali RA can not listen anyone who is calling Ya Ali Madad, then a person who is not listening you, do you imagine that he will help you? of course NO. So common sense says that we should not do this.
In Islam calling in absence is allowed only for Allah and for no else and if someone calls to anyone in this way then he is doing wrong and this act is called Shirk and is not allowed in Islam and is the greatest sin that Allah will never forgive him.

So keep in mind that saying Ya Ali Madad is NOT allowed in in any case.

However Saying "Ya Ali" without using the word "Madad" can be allowed ONLY in Poetry when the you don't have the intention that Ali RA is listening you and will help you then it is allowed and this sort of permission is called "poetic license" but keep in mind that it is allowed ONLY in poetry otherwise NOT in any other case.
