Question
Is it true that in the Middle East, the patient only pays their doctor when they are healthy and when the patient is not, they do not have to pay their doctor?

Answer
Due to strange and unpredictable nature of Arabs ,it can be true in psychological terms.but reality is different from this punchline.
people in oil rich gulf region enjoy  lavish medical facilities. the govt hospitals are not like the govt hospitals in India.they do not pay  in govt hospitals.
complicated surgeries carry out in these hospital.these hospitals are equipped with sophisticated and latest machinery. Also if the procedure is advance and patient need to go Europe or America, govt provides funding and support their citizen.
However in private hospital in Saudi Arabia, the Saudis usually pay for the treatment. But if that Saudi gets the treatment and refuse to pay then you can not force him to pay.you have to take this matter in the court and court settle the issue by advising the Saudi to pay on extremely easy installment.it happens in rare case. and only "Bedouin" with poor educational back ground, create these kinds of problems.
over all the Saudi society has a "pay and get" culture.
