I am with a Muslim man for 3 months now and we are intending to get married,  I am Christian at birth and was married.  I was separated for almost 8 years now but there is no legal separation done at my side even the man i got married ,already have his own family. Because it is too expensive to do legal separation..i decided not to make any appeal for it until now, before it was not a problem for me cause i don't think i will  want to be married again.   Now, i want to marry and the guy is a Muslim.  He ask me what we should do and need to be married and how we can make it possible for us to live together without fear and trouble... we want to be together legal not just in the community but also in the eyes of Allah. Can you help us. Is there any people you may recommed to help us,,,

Actually I am NOT a expert in the field you asked. I am a medical student with age 21 and replying here questions about Islam because I saw that many CHRISTIANS were answering the questions on Islam that is absolutely WRONG. They were doing nothing but misguiding the people! So I started answering questions here. I answer questions regarding Islamic Theology and belief system and Logical explanations for Islamic beliefs and comparative religion mainly Islam & Christianity.
As for as your case is concerned, I don’t know where do you live so it will mainly depend upon the laws of country. In case of Islamic countries (generally, may be incorrect) you should ask your EX-Husband to divorce you. Otherwise you can go to court and ask for your EXPENSES during the last 8 years and divorce. Surely he will like to divorce you instead of Paying a huge sum of money. Ask some expert in the category of Laws and tell him about your location and then he will be able to give a better suggestion.
