Question
Hey there.

I'm an utter novice where Arabic cuisine is concerned, though what
I have tried, I love. I've had houmous, baba-ganoosh (please excuse
the spelling!), falafel, Arabic coffee and sweet pastries (I can't
remember their name).

What other foods can I buy, and what do you especially
recommend?

Thanks.

Answer
Hi,
I love food, especially Arabic food.

What you have mentioned are not main meals, so I encourage you to try also the Arabic main meals.

Try for example the following:

Kousa Mehshi:

Kibba:

For salad try:
Taboula:

And for sweets try:
Qataif:

You will find the above meals at any Syrian or Lebanese restaurant.

Happy meals.
