QuestionHi,
I always wanted to know more about the Muslim world esp on the part on conversion. My friend is an Hindu and he is deeply in love with a Muslim girl..he is my friend n shares all sorrows and joy with me. I'll go straight to the point..he(my friend) has asked his girlfriend to follow his way n has moreover given her the option tat..if she doesn't wan 2 convert she can always remain as a Muslim but thier kids will have to b raise as an Hindu..she firsly resist but wants it the other way round. My friends opinion is he wans the girl to follow his way n not e other way round...she on the other hand loves him very very much n will do anything for him. The only obstacle they face in their relationship is her father. After much talking she finally decides to listen to her future hubby... from my understanding she firsly feared to accept her hubby's plan was because she said if she does..she will be punished by "ALAH"(GOD)..her parents will disown her.
My question is that why see religion in love?
Why can't a Muslim girl married into another religion without the other partner converting into her religion?
What is actully the obstacle and problem?
AnswerHi,
>Why can't a Muslim girl married into another religion without the other partner converting into her religion?
>>Because this is a clear rule which is mentioned in the holy Quran (Quran is the holy book which is the speech of God, and it contains the main rules of Islam).
The reason behind that rule, is because Islam can't guarantee that a husband with another religion will provide suitable environment for his wife to do her Islamic duties (prayer, etc...), Also because the children will follow their father religion which is not the right religion in Islam point of view.
