Arab Culture/Finding some information in Arabic on the Internet
Expert: Mohammed - 6/21/2006
QuestionDear Mohammed,
I am a teacher of English as a Foreign Language and take students from many different countries to visit places in England.
Today I took a group to see York Minster, and there were some students from Saudi Arabia in the group. It is a large famous cathedral in the north of England. They have information leaflets in many different languages - French, German, Japanese, etc., but not in Arabic.
I would like to find some information about York Minster in Arabic on the Internet, which I can print out and give to Arabic speaking students. I don't speak Arabic so it is difficult for me to find something in Arabic on the Internet.
Of course, the Saudi Arabian students are Muslims so almost everything about a cathedral is new to them.
I hope you can help me.

AnswerDear Laurence,
I searched the Internet for Arabic materials about “York Minster”, but unfortunately I only found some little information about it in Arabic.
Here are some of the links that I found:
1.

2.

3.

If you like, you can send me the English leaflets in PDF or Microsoft Word format, and I will translate it to Arabic for little fees.
