I am an American catholic girl and I have been seeing an Arab Muslim man for several months now and I was wondering if it is acceptable for him to receive a Christmas gift from me and if so, are their any guide lines as to what type of gifts to give him or not to give him. I will really appreciate any advice you can give me. Thank you

I think that he will accept your gift, also I expect that you will receive a Christmas gift from him as well.

Regarding the gift type, it can be anything but not Alcohol (wine).

By the way, i like to highlight the following point:
One can be a Muslim in his Identity card or in his passport, or because his parents are muslims, but he may not be following the right Islam rules.

For example: In Islam it is prohabited to drink wine, but some "muslims" do.
