QUESTION: I am told that there are 2 different words used, 1 for (my mothers-father) and 1 for (my fathers-father) is this correct? If so, what is the other? Also, I was told that Juddu is my fathers-father, is this correct? Thanx again.

Answer
No it is always Jeddi
I was in Lebanon many times and heard the Lebanese say:
Jeddi La Emmi = My grandfather from my mothers part.
Jeddi La Bayyi= My grandfather from my Fathers part.
Juddu = His Grandfather or in kids language meaning my grandfather.
