Question Thank you for the correct information. Just for clarity sake, on some of the Muslim websites, it states that Talihah means scholar, so you are saying that the only meaning for Talihah is vanguard or in the forefront? What is the meaning of "in the forefront"? What is it referencing ...in the forefront of belief? In the forefront of the military? Can you give me more specifics to I guess the arabic definition of Vanguard? You are also saying that Taliyaah and Talihah means the same just spelled differently due to the english language? Also is Taliyaah the correct Islamic way to spell that name? Lastly, can you point me to a book, a website or information that would allow me to see the arabic name Taliyaah and the meaning. I have had a very hard time pulling the meaning of that name up in various search engines. Talihah was the closest that I got that was still arabic (others were greek or some other origin), it was the only version that pulled up and on this particular website it stated the meaning was scholar. The information that you have given to me is what I want to hear, however before I name my baby girl, I want to make sure that I am naming her what I want her to grow up to become in our society. I thank you for revisiting some of my questions again, and I thank you!!!!!!

Answer hi .. how r u
well, scholar in arabic menas ( MENHAA) which means let students study without paying fees, well gov. or some universities pay .. this is the meaning of scholar, as for talyeeah .. it means to be infront of anything .. for ex. u say ( talyeeahat al jayesh or infront of the army ) or to be in the begining of something , for ex. in reolution, in social works or for islam they muslims who started the islam like prophet mohammed and his friends ( al sahabah) are caled talyeeahat al islam .. and so on, however if you are thinking to name your doughter with this name, i think it wouldnt work, because we dont use it at all, tell me what is in ur mind and i'll try to help you with names and there meaning.
