| Comment | Jim, Many thanks for answering my question. "U3A" is the University of the Third Age, a sort of intellectual coffee klatch for retired people, who meet a couple of times a week to listen to lectures on various topics, to study, for example, English literature, computer applications and so on. They also go on educational trips to theatres, galleries and so on. As examples of the subjects covered I've given talks on: "Australia's Constitution", "The High Court of Australia", "Why Australia should become a republic", "Chaucer", "The Renaissance", "The Enlightenment". Thanks again Regards Ken Anderson | ||
