About Roberto Carlos Pavón Carreón Expertise I have been studing Arabic for three years, also the local language spoken in Egypt,Lebanon and Maroc.
Experience
Past/Present clients I translate and help to more peoples in Latin America in the web page www.todoexpertos.com where I have the second place in the Languages categorie.
Question Thank you, I purchased a brass piece at an auction Between Reno Nevada and Lake Tahoe at a place called the Reindeer Lodge. Martin Roberts (another expert) responded "it was not a style he recogonized though it could be of middle-eastern origin".I have composed a web page with detailed pictures and the last picture at the bottom has what appears to be an arabic or middle eastern stamp. If you would not mind taking a look at it, it's at http://www.gulftel.com/emoody/thing.htm
Any help is greatly appreciated
Eddie
Answer Yes,its origin is arabic,in the mark I found a name, probably of a sultan or a qalifa, but his name doesn't distinguish good, because the right part of the mark is damaged.
Is necessary to do an X-ray analysis to determine exactly what is on the steel (the name),and after you can send me this results for I will translate correctly what is his name, obviously, if you want.
