Expert: Dhandapani Saravanan - 2/5/2009

Question
Respected Sir : I have a huge credit card due to Citibank. Atleast 80% of the debt is a card loan offered by Citibank. I am unable to repay the same as the person to whom I gave this money is not meeting his obligation. I have received a notice from an advocate asking me to appear before her under the Arbitration & Conciliation Act 1996. I will be appearing before her on the specified date. But I am in a severe crisis and will not be able to repay the dues immediately. What will happen to me in this hearing ?

Answer
