Arbitration/Mediation/wrongful discharge

Question
If I was discharged from my job today and then called back to return to work tommorrow can I just remain terminated

Answer
Hi, thanks for your question.

Unless you are putting at risk the receipt of payments for your work I suppose you have every right to choose to not go back.  If you are asking if the company may then try to claim that you "quit" and were not terminated, this would undoubtedly become a "he said, she said" dispute and you would have to fight it out.  It will help you to have a written discharge that would clearly establish your termination.

Good luck!
