Question Hi, I know someone who is getting a divorce and is being sucked dry by legal fees. Is there a way this can be taken cared of through mediation?
Answer Jake,
That is possible through court mandated mediation or private mediation. In some jurisdictions, the court mandates mediation in which the judge selects a mediator. Most jurisdictions allow for the parties to pay for a private mediator to resolve financial and child (custody, support, visitation) issues.
