Question
Hello, I recently moved to Pittsburgh and I have a BA in Social Science Education and courses in Archaeology with over 30 year of experience in Caribbean Field Archaeology and I would like to know who or where can I find opportunities to work here in this field. Thank you.

Answer
Hi Andres,  I have no idea what took you away from paridise but there are jobs in Pittsburg on occasion.  Since you have 30 years of field experience have you considered trying to get a job at the university??  You would need to get you MA but you might beable to do so with out to much effort.

Also join www.shovelbums.org.  This website lists all kinds of jobs all over NA that might be of interest and there may be something in Western PA that you may fit.  In addition, you will need to take some courses in CRM and the US laws concerning antiquities.  Check with the local Environmental consultants as often they are in need of a cultural resource manager.

Hope this helps.
