Question
I live in Houston and would like to find where I can volunteer my services as a non professional in an archaeological dig.  Areas would include Houston, Austin, Dallas areas. Please let me know who and how to go about this
Thanks,

The Houston Archaeological Society has monthly meetings and during the summer generally has a dig in the area.  Their contact informaiton can be found on their website noted above.  In addition, several of the area universities also sponser digs but to volunteer on these may be a bit more difficult.  Contact the Anthro department at A & T and they can direct you.
