Question
I'm currently completing my BA in anthropology. My area of interest is transitions of subsistence stratigies in complex hunter gatherers of North America and possibly Europe. My desire is to eventually complete a Ph.D. and teach at the college level. I'm interested in what you might know about the following graduate programs in archeology at The University of British Columbia, UMASS at Amherst, or the University of Edinburgh.

Answer
Hi Justin,

All have good programs but I would select either UMASS or UBC.  Others to consider are U Arizona and U of Florida.  They also have good programs for what you are interested in.

The other thing you should take a look at are extant transhumant populations since there are parallels to ancient HGs.
