Question
Presently in Ticrit Iraq. While out rock hunting found, for lack of better (hammer head) looking piece of stone. Has groves that could lead you to believe it was attached to a handle. Would like to send pictures for thoughts/ID Any suggestions?
Thank You in advance.

Answer
Hi Wm,

Send me a pic of the item, place a ruler next to it so that I have a sense of scale.  Take it from several angles if you would.  You can send the pics to rsalier@hotmail.com.  "Stone tool" in the comments.

Keep your head down and stay safe!! We are all pround of the work you all are doing.
