Question

old pot
Hi.  I have a large bronze bell and a very old clay pot that look like they have spent a lot of time in the ocean.  I bought them at an auction - all I know is that before I bought them - they were heading for the New Mexico museum of History.  (The wife of archeologist was selling a bunch of stuff that was to go to the musuem.  They were divorcing.)

How do I find out more about these items. They are really neat - I would love to know where they came from.

Thank you,
Kerry

Answer
Hi Kerry,

Please send me pics to rsalier@hotmail.com of both.  Also do you know the last name of the people getting the divorce?

Since these items were headed for a museum, you may want to consider making a donation to the museum of these items and take a tax write off based on what you paid for the items.

I look forward t o getting additional pics.  If you can, place a ruler infront of the items so I have an idea of scale.

Thanks
Ralph
