Archaeology/Interview

Question
Hi,
I am doing a project for my school, and we are supposed to obtain an interview from a professional in the field which we wish to pursue (in my case, archaeology). However, I live in a military base in Germany, making it rather hard to find a person to interview, so I was wondering if you could answer a few questions, if it isn't too much trouble.

-How many years of higher education did you need in order to become a professional?

-Would you say that you find your job fulfilling? (By that I mean, was it worth it?)

-What struggles do you come across in your daily work?

-Do you think that archaeology is a dying field, or will there still be jobs available for future generations?

-What do you enjoy the most about your field?

If you find the time, I would greatly appreciate it!

Answer
4 years for a BA and then 2 to 5 years more for a Masters and perhaps a PhD.

Yes, I have found it well worth the time and effort.

The complexity of the site, the people on occasion, the compliance to all required federal and local laws...

No, I believe that there will be a need for many years to come

Analysis of the materials.

Hope this helps.
