Question
Did later peoples continue to use the core-&-blade technology of the Clovis era
?

Answer
Hi Bill,

Yes,  The core and blade technology was used until late in the Archaic periods and may have been used by woodlands peoples.  It is used today by people that make obsidian scalpbles blades for eye surgery.  I've used it to illustrate the technique.

In the Middle East and Europe it was used well into agricultural times (bronze age) to make sickel blades.
