QUESTION: Mr. Salier,
I believe that I have discovered an underwater city of vast proportions on Google Earth. Apparently so ancient, normal geological formations have partially obscured it. Before you delete this, you should know that this site is easily accessible on G.E. if someone would only take a moment.
Question: To whom would I tell this to with the interest/ability to investigate it further? I'm an ex-cop; a skeptic-but I know what I found...Sincere Thanks, Steve
ANSWER: Hi Steve,
Although it is within the realm of possibility and we know of several sites of cities that have been submerged due to tectonic movements most are costal in nature. I would love to know what your coordinates are on GE and take a look for my self if you are willing to provide this to me and I will give you my view and impression. If it is something that needs to be explored, I will place you in touch with an archaeologist who works in that area. How would that work out for you?
And by the way, as an archaeologist, I have worked with satellite images, color enhanced images, radar images and many other types of imagery looking for sites both on land and in water. So, it is possible that you have found something after all there are a lot more amateurs out there then professionals and over the many years of working as an archaeologist, most sites are found by dedicated amateurs like yourself. So, thank you for bringing this to our attention.

QUESTION: 46' 57' 39.01 N 157' 38' 21.79 W ?
52.48278 - 166.113281 ?
I have no idea what I'm doing, but besides an incredible layout you should see a structure outline with impossible dimensions. If this is not the info you need, I'll try my best to get it. I wish I could just load them & send, but I'm lo-tech...Steve
Answer Hi Steve,
If you did it right then I have a place in the deep ocean south of Alaska and west off the coast of British Columbia.
This is an area of intense tectonic movement and is part of the Eastern Pacific rift system.
In this area the parallel ridges you see are part of the expansion of the Pacific ocean to the east. This can also be seen along the mid Atlantic rift as well. As the magma moves into the Pacific rift system it pushes up and out and since this has been ongoing for millions of years on a very regular basis, you then see the regularity. The "buildings" are sea mounts or underwater volcanoes. This continuous up welling and spread of the Pacific Ocean is why there is a "ring of fire" around the Pacific since the Atlantic is pushing NA to the West and Europe/Asia to the East this is forcing the Pacific Ocean Plate to subduct below the continental plates. These subduction zones then generate the volcanoes that ring the Pacific Ocean and make the entire region prone to violent earthquakes.
It is a very cool feature but, I am sorry to say that it is not a submerged Giant city.
Take a look at 20 21 33.36N 89 46 19.37W (the Yucatan of Mexico) This Uxmal. You can see how small a major city is and how close you need to get to it to see it.
