Question
Hi

Im a bit concern with the Giza Pyramids..why such great structures with no hieroglyphics were ever found, yet - the assumption is that they were tombs..what?

Futhermore - considering how much the Egyptians were about telling their stories in great details...Yet a KINGS TOMB has no indication its a KINGS TOMB..no markings whatsover. I believe as well that Howard Vise - open 3 chambers but the day after his discovery of these chambers did he mention the Graffitti of Khafu name - furthermore there are argument on the syntax writing..Has anyone done a carbon dating of the graffitti?

Also- how were the builders knowledgeable on location of the pyramids such that its the center point of all land mass on earth, also its relations to the poles (only off by a fraction)..mathematical genius that seem to dissapear much later..

In addition - I read that the avg temperature inside the pyramid is exactly the same of either the earths temperature  or Egypts (not sure)...

I personally do not believe that the Egyptians built these - only because historically they would have put these on the walls as a telling story..Whether it would be the story of Khafu into the pyramid or just the construction - which there is none..at least that I know

There is more to the pyramids of Giza that people are leading to believe...The tomb presumption is weak..

Imagine a King buried with nothing mentioned anywhere in them? this does not fit Egyptians history..

Im very interested in these pyramids and I know that we will never know but I believe there are an ELITE of people who do know and why they are ignorant about it - is selfish...My heart tells me that these pyramids HOLD THE KEY to opening up where we came from..

Has anyone looked UNDERNEATH the pyramid?

I heard that at one time they went in with a robotic machine and found some artifacts buried in the pyramid..but the artifacts are now gone...nowhere to be found..

Do I believe Aliens may have built them? who knows..but I do believe DIVINITY was with who every built them

We can not replicate these..Of what I have read, some of these stones can not even be lifted by machinery we have today..

Answer
Hi Richio,

The pyramids of Giza are part of a massive mortuary complex and is by far one of the most studied ancient sites of Egypt.  Archaeological work was begun in the 18th century by Napoleon.  A great deal is known about the builders, the artisans and the kings that ordered the building of the structures.

This is a very good website that will provide some basic information about the Giza complex:

http://www.nationalgeographic.com/pyramids/pyramids.html

Here is another good site for you to look at:

en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Great_Pyramid_of_Giza

The pyramids are nothing mysterious.  They are magnetically aligned to the north and they are in alignment with the sun's path in the sky.  But this is not unusual since the ancient Egyptians were masters at astronomy as this was critical for them to track planing season, flood season and many other important festivals and holydays.  So using astronomical features to build the pyramids is not surprising.

We even know how they were built and what is underneath the structures.  I hope that once you have had the opportunity to read these two articles, you will be better informed about these pyramids and that they will no-longer be quite the mystery.

There is a lot of other information both in the National Geographic, and other magazines both on line and else where for further study.  Also go on line to www.google.com and put in the Pyramids of Giza and read what some other articles can tell you.

I hope that this helps.
