do i need gr.12 functions to become an archaeologist? what other courses do you need that help you become an archaeologist?

Hi Tory,

To be a professional archaeologist, you will need a university degree.  At a minimum a Bachelors degree and more likely a Masters degree.  Many countries and companies require a PhD.  

However, there is another option.  There are chapters of the Canadian Archaeological Society all over Canada.  Many of these chapters include local professionals and often  they sponsor digs  that chapter members get to work on.  If you reply back with your province and city, I will try to get the contact information for your local chapter and send it to you.
