Question
Hey!
So I've been pretty interested in Archeology/Anthropology for a while now and I had a couple questions. Where are some of the top schools to go to for it? I currently attend a nationally ranked high school, so my grades are top notch, yet not high enough for schools like Harvard or Yale. I've taken classes from Philosophy, Sociology, Psych, and Econ along with all the history classes required. I am fine with the cost of schools but I was wondering where i should be looking at for college. I'm interested in all types of history so I can't even give you a category i'm most interested in, but I have 4 years of spanish under my belt and I am planning to continue it in college, for fluency.

Thanks!

Answer
Hi Samantha,

I assume that you are a junior and that you have another year to go.  The right school for you will depend in part on the cultural zone that you are most interested in.  With Spanish your primary learned language, Mexico or some place in South America  or Central America may be of greatest interest.  There are a number of poorly understood cultures in our hemisphere that could use a champion.  U of Arizona or U of Florida are both worth looking into.  U of Chicago is also a good option.
