i have found cannon balls and grape shots near Houston texas there are so many i was wondering if the battle of the war of independence  battle zone was ever found. I have not seen information on if anyone has ever found such a large cash of large and medium cannon balls and grape shot can you give me any info on this

Hi James,

Several battles for Texas independence took place in Houston.  The battle of San Jacinto is the most famous of these.  Many different munitions were used and with devastating effect.  There is more at the San Jacinto historical site web site.  It also speaks to other battles that took place including the Alamo.
