Question
I am interested in studying Archaeology and in particular Egyptology. I live in Perth, Australia and seen as would have to move at least interstate to study Egyptology, I was wondering if you had any recommendations of the better Universities around the world that offer Egyptology.

There are several very good universities which have specialities in this area.  Oxford, University of London, University of Pennsylvania (USA), University of Cairo (Egypt) and others.  You will need to determine if you want to work on early, middle or late kingdoms and what part of those.  Then make your choice after speaking to each of these universities.  I was always interested in early pre-dynastic periods.  A good friend of mine went to the University of Pennsylvania and now works on the Hellenistic period.
