Question
What are the differences between The Socirty For Applied Anthropology and The American Anthropoloical Association?

Answer
Dear Jonathan
The Society for Applied Anthropology is a subset of the larger American Anthropological Association. The AAA unites about two dozen or so more specialized sub-groups.  The Society for Applied Anthropology is one of these subgroups whose membership focuses on practical applications of anthropological research, i.e., in law, politics, health care, etc.
