Answer
Hi Kamil,

Do you have access to the National Geographic?  There are several very good stories in this publication about the K-T event and its impact on life on Earth.

The KT event caused a cloud of dust which hid the sun and brought about a climatic winter over much of the Earth.  There may have been some areas which were not a deeply affected but for the most part, the impact lasted decades.  It is similar to the "mini ice age" of the 1600's and 1800's caused but the eruption of Tambora and Krakatoa (volcanoes).

Fossils of plants from the Createous period are found in many places from China to the Americas.  Some of the best are found in China.

I am not familiar with the Pterosaurus.  Are you sure of its spelling?

The KT event boundry materials are in the meters thick in the Americas and upwards of a 10 centimeters in India and parts of Asia.

There are many fossil beds around the world from the KT boundry period.  Many can be found in China, North Africa, The American South West, and elsewhere.  Many of these areas are now deserts and this has helped in the preservation of these materials.

If you do not have access to National Geographic please let me know and I will look for web site links for you.
