Question
who would be the right group or archaeologist to report a site that contains early man points such as a folsom point and signs that indians camped at this area extensively. the site is in southeast new mexico in rural chaves county  around a small dry lakebed (playa) i think this site could be of interest to those who search for paleo indian camps. the site is about 130 miles east of the blackwater draw site. thanks for any info you might give- stan gregory

Answer
Stan,  Thank you for reporting this site.  TELL NO ONE!!
other then the following individuals:

Contact the New Mexico state Archaeologist or Contact the U of NM department of Anthropology and ask to speak to one of the archaeologists on staff (an americanist) and tell them about the site.

You may beable to find both on line.  Or if you would prefer, you can provide the detailed data to me and I will make contact with these folks on your behalf.
