Question
I live in Rochester NY and grew up in Syracuse.  In both cities there are several houses supposedly designed by an architect named Ward Williams Ward who was roughly contemporary with Frank Lloyd Wright.  I cannot find any information about Ward through my normal search techniques so I am hoping you might point me in a useful direction.  I am not an architect just a curious buff.  Thanks.

The name of this architect does not come up in any of my searches either.
You can contact the Onondaga Historical Association Research Center here: http://www.cnyhistory.org/contact.html
This and any other historical society in the Syracuse area may have some information about the architect.  Actually contacting current owners of these houses may yield some background info as well.  I also registered an inquiry with The Frank Lloyd Wright Foundation.  I will contact you if anything comes up.
You may also contact the local AIA (American Institute of Architects) to see if anyone there knows of Ward.
