Question
Im a student studying final year architecture.And Im doin my thesis on the topic WORLD TRADE CENTRE and I would like to incorporate sustainable feautures or elements in my project.It would be really helpful if you could send me some good innovative ideas on sustainability.Other than this it would be also helpful if u can give me some ideas on making my project an important icon in my site

Hi Grifi,

Regarding how to make an icon, I would start by studying other buildings that are icons and questioning what makes them iconic.  Is it just that they don't blend into the surroundings, or is there more to it?  Were they high-tech for the time they were built? Many iconic buildings also tend to show up in other design fields - like graphic design or fashion (logos and prints).  

Regarding the World Trade Center and sustainable features I think it would be important to express how sustainability is a global issue with your design,yet solved on a local level. I'm also intrigued by the idea of creating an iconic green building. What would that look like? I would expect it would look like nothing we've seen before.
