Hey,
i was wondering if a high school diploma is nessasary. I've been working in construction, and have been envolved with lifting houses, and working on frames etc for about 7 years now. I want to become an Architect, but i dont have a high school diploma. Is it possible?

Hello Wallace,
In order to qualify for a degree in Architecture you must be admitted to a University that normally requires a high school diploma or a GED at least and show aptitude for desiging or construction.  The degree program is 5 years for a Bachelor in the U.S.  Then there is a two year internship period after which you may take the licensing test.
If you wish to design houses only, you do not need any university degree or affiliation with any organization.
