Oh and I was wondering I am interested in two colleges right now 1 the Illinois Institute of Technology and 2 Purdue University. Do you think you could tell me if these would be good colleges to go to? thanks                                         ~Halie

1.  Yes, primarily residential luxury home plans
2.  I have an office on 7491 Conroy Road in Orlando
3.  Yes, a Texas and Florida license.  Also reciprocity is possible through NCARB
4.  Licensing is given by examination.  I took the test in Austin Texas.
5.  Texas A&M University
6.  Elective and Graduate courses included Design Studio, Structural analysis, History of Architecture, Environmental Design (HVAC, Plumbing and Electrical), Physics and Math basics, Drawing and Drafting, Photography, Archaeology, Psychology, Piano, Business Administration, Art history
7.  First Electrical Engineering, then changed to Architecture
8.  Varies: $20,000 - $30k per month.  After 24 years.  Starting salary about $7/month in 1978
9.  Drafting, Shop, Geometry, Calculus, History of Art, English, Business, Drawing, Photography
10. Any good state or private college with accreditation and known reputation.
11. I live in Orlando, Florida
12. It depends on the size and location, client whims, mostly.  A 5,000 SF home may take 4-8 months to complete.
13. I have my own office, self employed sole proprietor

IIT is very good.  I was admitted there for Urban Planning but finished at TAMU.  Purdue is also excellent.
