Question
sir ,
i am a student of architecture and we are given a project to design a bio climatic twin scrapers in a hot and humid  climatic condition.
and there is also a beach just 300m away from the site ...
function of the building is both residential and commercial ..
can you please advice what important points should i keep in mind while designing the towers ....

Hi Viraat,

I would start you research looking at some precedents to help identify what issues you need to address. Have you looked at the work of Norman Foster? That firm has done some buildings that may be relevant. I believe one of them breaks up the tower with multi story green spaces. There is also a carbon neutral town he is planning. You could possibly apply some of these principles to you tower project.  Some issues you might want to think about are the basic ones of sun screening and how to cool and dehumidify a building like this. You might explore ways to generate electricity on site, and store it. I recently saw an example of using solar energy to convert water into hydrogen, which is then stored for later use in tanks. This is done instead of batteries.  You should also look at house waste water can be reused perhaps multiple times. Hope this helps.
