Question
Hi Nazim,

I have been on a quest to find a decent reference book on the various architectural styles (ie: Second Empire, Gothic Revival, Victorian, Eastlake, etc.)with descriptions and color pics of each example.  This should also contain a section of architectural terms/components with illustrated b/w pics for cornice, cupola, widow's walk, etc.  So far, I have seen a few books with some of this, but never a comprehensive book with it all.  Does such a book actually exist?  Can you recommend several to me?  I am interested in architecture (though not a student of it) and want to teach myself what makes up the various styles so I can identify them for myself when I drive through historic districts or tour old homes.  Can you help me?  Thanks.
