Question
tree house
tree house
Hello!

I'm thinking about building a small tree house in the mountain where we have a land. We do not have actual tree but would like to make tree house on wooden pillars. Also we need a tree house with heating and small bathroom. During the winter it is snowing, so we need a tree house with windows, not outdoor, but a warm one.

Is there any designs you can recommend or suggestions?

Thank you very much in davance!

Answer
Hi Nadini,
I LOVE treehouses!  There are a number of books available on treehouses all over the world, enclosed, with heat, AC, plumbing, etc.  If you google search or look on Amazon or at your local library you will have tons of material for inspiration.  Beyond that, you are basically designing a complete house, but up in the air.  Your best results would be working with an Architect, or gifted builder.  Your issues are going to be structural stability, insulation, and access.  Enjoy the process, I am a bit jealous of such a fun project!
Best,
Mollie
