Hi expert i was wondering if you cuold help me with these questions?

Did Frank Lloyd wright designed de stijl architecture and prairie style architecture?

Hi Sue - thanks for your question!

No, de stijl was a Dutch precursor of the Bauhaus school and although it's practictioners were contemporaries of Wright, they espoused a very different philosophy of architectural design.

One of Wright's "styles" became known as Prairie for the way it fit the landscape of the upper Midwestern American plains.

In his earliest years Wright worked alongside more "modern" architects but even his first designs show detail and ornamentation that was the antithesis of de stijl.
