Question hello, i hope your having a good day! i am senoir attending high school still, i actually have a quick quetion for you, what kind of college cources are neccessary for a degree or certified architect?
thank you,
felisha
Answer Hi Felisha:
Usually 5 years of college, including 4 years of design studio; usually two years of math (depending on what you had in High School), and specialized courses in architectural history, mechanical building systems, structures, and professional practice. Most programs will also require electives in art (drawing), and of course core classes in English, history, writing, etc.
The best way for you to answer this question, would be to log on to a website for an accredited college of Architecture; or even just give them a call.
Good luck,
Thanks,
PB
