Question hi ya paul traci here i was jus looking to know could u describe to my what auto cad is and hw is it used to produce drawings
Answer Sure:
AutoCad is a software program sold by the AutoDesk Corporation; architects and other building designers use it to produce drawings for new buildings: floor plans, reflected ceiling plans, interior elevations, piping layouts, electrical plans, etc.
If you 'Google' either autocad or autodesk, you will get tons of good information.
AutoCad is used by inputing a series of commands, like 'L' to draw a line; 'extend' to have a line extend to meet another line, etc. Newer versions of AutoCad also allow creating a virtual model of a building in 3-dimensions, and allow a viewer to take a virtual walk through the proposed design.
