Argentina/Argentina Visit
Expert: Alejandro Ostera - 8/17/2008
QuestionHello, I am visiting Argentina (Buenos Aires, Iguazu, Bariloche) this coming month and I am wondering if there are any soccer games during the coming weeks. I will be in Buenos Aires August 19th and leaving the 23rd and wondering if you have information on the different teams (I tried looking on the web site but could not figure out which teams are the best to see), and their schedules.
Also - I read something in a tour book about Bariloche's National Snow Festival and I am wondering when this year's event is.
In all places, is it best to book tours in advance or wait till I get there? And is it necessary to take a guided tour of Iguazu, or do you recommend exploring it on our own? Thank you!
I am so excited to explore Argentina! Thank you for all of your help.
AnswerHello sara: if you are going to visit Argentine in September 21 you can see any of these games:
SAN MARTIN (TUC.) vs RIVER PLATE
RACING CLUB vs STUDENTS GIVES L.P.
GIMNASIA Y ESGRIMA L.P. Vs GODOY CRUZ
BOCA JRS. vs TIGER
GIMNASIA Y ESGRIMA (JUJUY) vs ARGENTINIANS JRS.
N O BOYS Vs INDEPENDENTE
LANUS Vs HURRICANE
SAN LORENZO vs COLON
ARSENAL F.C. vs BANFIELD
VELEZ SARSFIELD vs ROSARY CTRAL.
The more important teams are Boca Juniors, River, San Lorenzo between others. This day is feasted the Springday and the Day of the Student in all the country.
The National Snow Festival is in Bariloche betwen 18 to 27 August.
Is better to do reservations to travel more shure.
I think that I would be better to cross iguazu with a guide. The guide is going to explain to you in detail on the flora and fauna of place. Definitively is better.
Argentina is an exciting country. His great extension allows him to have all the landscapes that you imagine. And they all are beautiful!!! I want to invite you to that you visit my web page in www.elsuri4x4.com.ar where you will be able to unload photos of Argentina.
I wait that you enjoy your stay in Argentina and if you need some thing more just ask me.
Regards
Alejandro
