Question
I am an American student currently studying in São Paulo for 6 months, and I am planning a short trip to Foz de Iguaçu this week. I want to see both the Brazilian and Argentinian sides of the falls. Do I need to apply for a visa to enter the Argentinian side? Or can people with Brazilian visas enter with no problem? Thanks.

Answer
Hi!  You are suppose to have a Visa to get into Brazil but I know that taxi drivers will take you, even if you do not have one.  It depends on you and how you feel about doing it.  I know I would do it and just play dumb but this is up to you.  The legal thing, is to have a Visa.  kathy

I have been to Argentina many times and the last in 2007. Have visited, IGU Falls, Mendosa, Northern parts of Argentina (Salta). I also do volunteering for Peru/Ecuador/Chile/Brazil. Just never took the time to sign up for Argentina but now having been to more areas, feel I could help those that want to travel there. Kathy
