Hi

I see there will be a river plate boca juniors football match on March 26th in Buenos Aires.  i would like to get tickets in advance (perhaps from new york where i live).  Please tell me if that is possible and the best way to go about it.  I do not necessarily need a local guide to go with me and I would like to get a decent deal.

Dear Igor,

As you may know Boca vs River Plate is the most important game in the National Championship. It is very difficult to get tickets and the only company I know which still has a few available tickets left offers a package that includes transportation and guide during the whole game. This package with "Platea" seats (which are quite good) currently costs about $450 argentine pesos per person. I understand you will be in Argentina, so I suggest you check with your travel agent or concierge at your hotel who may be able to assist you.
